Officially Winter

Winter is officially here!  I LOVE this time of year!  I'm crazy, I know, to love snow as much as I do! But I grew up in southern  Nevada (very close to Las Vegas) and we didn't get much snow. Now that I live in Northern Utah, I LOVE winter and when the world is covered in white!

What is the weather like today, where you are?  Snow? Rain? Sun?  Cold? Hot?

I'd love to hear what the winter solstice is like in your part of the world!

Here is today's Freebie:

Well for a first in a long time here in KS , we just might have have a white Christmas. Grandkids out a day early because of 1" of snow yesterday but there was very bad ice under it. I agree with you, it is beautiful to look at! Love the winter solstice download but for some reason it keeps giving me the day 19 zip file. Thanks again for all the time you girls put into this site!

Let me get that link fixed for you! Thank you for letting me know!

Be safe with all that ice-that is the one downside to snow, but I hope you get a pretty white Christmas that you don't have to drive in!!!

Thank you!! I live in Australia, so it is hot here .. high 30's this weekend .. up to 39C on Sunday; but cooling down to about 26C for Christmas Day. I love the look of all the snow, but I hate the cold with a passion .. so I think I'll leave it to you and I'll stick to my pool, lol!!

I've always wondered what it would be like to be on the other side of the world and have Christmas be during the summer. I bet it would be fun to relax and hang out by the pool all during the break!

Thank you for the entire series -- I've had so much fun coming here each day. Today we have sunny blue skies and a foot of snow that showed up during the week hours yesterday (and closed schools and took out electricity for many folks -- still 11,000 in our area without power which is pretty miserable when it is below zero. Oh but it is pretty with snow dripping from the branches and flakes glistening in the sun.

Indiana- first winter storm of the season.... loved it since I was off work today but going in tomorrow won't be so fun... it rained first so everything is icy.... had to cancel my first Friday night plans in months too but on the up side- we may actually get a white christmas... YAY!!!!

I live in Moscow, Russia. It is cold and icy here! It snowed at the end of November so everywhere is white, but because it's been around for so long it's not fluffy and crunchy any more, just hard and icy where people have walked constantly. Temperature is around -18 celcius (that's about 0 fahrenheit). We usually don't get it that cold until January.
