December 13

Today would have been my Daddy's (yes, he's still Daddy to me) 82nd birthday.  But cancer took him from us 9 years ago.  I tend to get reflective this time of year anyway and especially on this day.  I created this layout as a result of my remembrance of my Daddy.

This layout was made with Ramona's Christmas Past kit and Christmas Past template.  It just goes to show you that sometimes a theme kit can be used for other purposes as well.  I think it also shows that this kit is really a well-designed and versatile kit.  Thanks, Ramona.

Now onto the fun stuff - today's freebie!

I had to come back to read this because when I saw it was about your dad, I got a big lump in my throat. What a beautiful scrap page in memory of him. I did one a couple of weeks ago for my dad that passed away 10 years ago. Thanks so much for sharing your page and the wonderful goodies you pass along to us from this website.

Sorry about your daddy. :( My grandpa was taken on 12/23 and every since my mom has never gotten back into the Christmas spirit. :( It's really hard for her. Your layout is very pretty.

Thank you for todays part.

I am sympathetic to you. Tuesday (the 11th) was my Daddy's birthday and some years are harder than others remembering him. He died in 2000 from an anuerism and I miss him still...
