Christmas 1999

This particular Christmas is one of my all-time favorite memories!  I'm not sure why.  I don't know if it is because we stayed home that year, just our own little family.  I don't know if it is because it was the first year or really establishing our traditions or just the fun of having 2 little boys to enjoy it with.  But, often as I look back at some of my most precious memories, this Christmas tops the list!  Here are a few pictures from that day!

This final picture was actually taken a week or so before at the family Christmas party with my side of the family!  Mitchell is being held here by my mom!

It was such a fun time and seems like only yesterday, rather than the 12 years it has actually been!  Time really does move quick!

I remember that Christmas Eve,  I made a big ham dinner and our favorite potato casserole and green beans and red jello!  We had pie for dessert.  After cleaning everything up, we got the boys in their pajamas and watched Christmas cartoons.  I specifically remember watching Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer before putting the boys to bed!

The gift I remember receiving most that year was John knew that I wanted to sell Mary Kay products, so he bought me my start up kit and had it waiting for me on the couch that morning!  It was so fun!  I spent the day reading through and playing with makeup!  What could be more fun than that!!

Today, I have some fun news to share about my templates!  I have opened my shop-today, in fact-at ScrapMatters!  I am so excited and have some fun goodies available there!  I also sent out my newsletter this morning.  If you aren't signed up and would like to read it, click HERE!  I think you can subscribe from there too!  You'll want to be sure and sign up as I will send it out weekly with coupons, new releases, inspiration, etc!

Now to show off what I have available:

Such a fun trip down memory lane, too! I will come back for more of your posts.
