Fun on the Lake

Maggie here.  I've had a bit of family drama lately.  But overall I have been totally blessed with the family that I have.  My sister and I have been planning the biennial family reunion for my mom's family.  My mom is one of 6 children and they have also been a tight-knit family.  I consider many of my cousins to be friends as well as family.  We have had as many as 45 people and 4 generations.  This year it's going to be smaller, but we still anticipate almost 30 people for a 4-day weekend of food, fun, stories and laughs.

And I will be taking plenty of pictures for this year's reunion album but I have also been working on the last reunion's album - yes, I'm perpetually behind.  Here's a page from the 2011 album:

I'm Scrapping My Story, Are You?

Hi everyone! Eileen here today and this is my first post here on Ramona's blog! I've been a member of her CT for about as long as she's been designing, but I've been a "silent" member for a bit, but with good reason! We welcomed a new little guy last June and he turned my world upside down, just as any newborn will do. Sleep deprivation abound and I was pretty useless in the scrapping world for quite some time. Now he's 10 months old and actually sleeps predictably. That means I've got some scrapping time back!

Anyway, I'd like to share a page that I created using my little guy's newborn photos. I used the beautiful Scrap Your Story: April kit that you can get piece by piece by visiting the blog every day, or you can just head on over to Ramona's shop at Scrap Matters and grab the whole thing if you just can't wait!

Since I've been on a scrapping break for so long, I still need a little help to start off a page and so I used a template from Ramona's Clip It {templates} Vol. 1, which is also available at Scrap Matters.

Well, we are about 2 weeks away, but National Scrapbook Day is coming so very fast!  I would love input from my faithful readers on what things you would like to see in my shop for that day!

I'm wanting to do another grab bag to go with my other SuperStash items.  What things would you like to see?  No guarantees, but I'll do my best to work your ideas into my plans!

National Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Day

Hello everyone!  Bethany here...Did you know that today is National Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Day?  I had NO clue such a thing existed!  In my house we always like to celebrate the silly holidays as well as the big ones, I guess maybe we just like a reason to celebrate, lol!  So when searching for holidays coming up, this is what I had found.  It made me giggle.  It's been a while since I have made or even eaten a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, but from what I remember, it is yummy!  I think we are going to be making one today....I mean the fruit makes it healthy right?!  I don't know if my kids have ever had it, so what better way to introduce it to them than to try it today!!

Day 19

Perfect Harmony

As most of you can tell from my blog and things, I LOVE music!  Seriously, music has such an amazing power!

I created this kit as a way to celebrate music, in all its forms.  I figured that I'm probably not the only one out there with piano recitals, band performances or choir tours to scrapbook!  I hope you will enjoy it as much as I am going to!  I can't wait to scrap our recent trip with this kit.
