Today, in history, was the day the Titanic hit the iceberg and eventually led to the sinking of the "unsinkable" ship back in 1912. I don't know why, but I am fascinated by this little tidbit of history. I love reading about it, watching shows about it, and yes, I will admit it, I even love the movie Titanic. As fascinating as it is, it is truly tragic how many people lost their lives that night. And it is mind boggling to me how there weren't enough life boats for everyone and how the different classes of people were treated so differently. Okay, I don't mean to bore you all...but I tell you, this stuff is SO interesting!!
So, on to what you have come for today! Don't you love this new kit Ramona is giving away?? I do...I love the colors. Here is a layout I made using the kit:

What a sad day it was all those years ago Dana. I have to admit, I think I am the only one that hasn't seen the movie because I didn't think I could emotionally handle it. Such a horrible tragic thing. Thanks so much for today's goodies! Love the chevron & raindrops!
Thank You ;`]
Thank you!
Thank you!! I admit I love history too ... we have come a long way since the Titanic!! I heard the other week that there is another ship being built called Titanic and they are going to sail the same route .. without the horrific ending, of course! I don't know about that .. I'm a bit (translation: a lot!! ) superstitious !!
Thank you for the lovely piece of kit. I too "love" the Titanic story. Have you read Violet Jessops book? She survived 2 sinkings and a collision. It did not have as much Titanic stuff in it as I expected but on the whole the book was very interesting.
I enjoy reading the history "tidbits" you include in your postings.
Thanks for today's pieces to this lovely kit!
Betty
Thank you so much!
