All Things Theater

So, as some of you may know, our family is really into theater and acting and singing and all that stuff! My oldest son (almost 16) is in several plays a year and LOVES it.  My next son (almost 14) has also been in several plays.  Even my son who is on the Autism Spectrum, takes part in an after school drama program for kids with special needs.  It is in our blood!

I recently got the idea to make an album for each of my kids to document each play they are in.  But I haven't been real successful in finding kits that deal with acting, plays, Shakespeare, etc.  So, I'm going to create my own!  It got me to thinking, am I the only one who would have a use for kits of this nature?  And if you would also have a need for a kit or two of this kind, what specific things would you like to see in them?  I would love any ideas or thoughts on this as I start my brainstorming process!

In the meantime here is your freebie for today!

I would totally use a theater kit. My oldest does theater!

scripts, tragedy masks, Word bits (dress rehersal, opening night, matinee, break a leg, encore, director, teacher, the different crews) a little program

My family likes to watch and participate in theater, so I would definitely use a kit with that theme. Most of the shows we deal with are musicals, so music notes, a piano, lights, dancers.

My daughter did theater - plays and dancing - so I have lots of photos of her to scrap. I usually use the theme from the play when I do the pages. For a generic theater kit, it would be great to have scripts, a director's chair, a curtain.
Thank you for today's pieces!
