Holiday Sweets & Day 17

Happy Monday! Emmy here! Can you believe there is only 8 days until Christmas!! Woah! Today I'm gonna talk about sweets, I love sweets anytime of the year and around the holidays I love baking for the season! While cookies are yummy, I try to think outside of the box and try something new every year! A few weeks ago I was browsing the web and I found these adorable Santa Hat Cupcakes! They are the cutest thing ever! This weekend I brought out my apron and mittens and got to work on them! Here was my end result: (excuse the poor quality, this is a cell phone picture!)

Aren't they simply adorable?? The best part is they were so easy to make! Here is what you need:

* Boxed or Homemade Cupcakes - I used the boxed one for mine and they still taste delish!

*Frosting - I personally prefer buttercream

*Whipped Cream - It would be easiest if you bought it with the spray nozzle

* Strawberries with the tops cut off 

And that's it! Of course you bake the cup cakes first, let them cool and then frost them. Then you add your strawberries and add your whipped cream and volia! So yummy!
